If you consider Redeemer Church to be your family and have not yet found a place to serve, well you are needed! As a family who is partnered together to be on mission in our city, we rely on the faithful service of our people to make things run well. Take a look at the list of different service teams below and please consider serving in one of the many different serving opportunities. Start by filling out a connect card on Sunday Morning and returning it to the Welcome Center. You can also email us at info@redeemernw.org.
Redeemer Church Service Teams
Audio
The Audio Team is responsible of many different elements on Sunday mornings. This includes sound technicians, slides (Proclaim), videos, lighting techs and more. Prior knowledge and experience is helpful but not required; the Audio | Media Team is willing to train the right people.
Band
The Corporate Music Teams are composed of musicians and vocalists who prayerfully prepare for and lead the corporate church body in singing lyrical theology each Sunday. If you are passionate playing music and leading others to worship our God, then the next step is to sign up for an audition. For a request for an audition you can either fill out a connect card on Sunday or email info@redeemernw.org.
Redeemer Kids
Redeemer Kids Team is comprised of both Lead Teachers and Support Teachers who partner with parents to create a safe, welcoming and fun environment for kids to lead about Jesus and how to apply the Gospel. The commitment is once a month, but we also need occasional help with special events when they arise. You don't need a lot of experience (we will train you).
Facility Team
The Facility Team is responsible for all tasks associated with ensuring that Redeemer Church’s Sunday gathering space is effectively cleaned before and after services. The goal is to create a hospitable and welcoming environment for all members & guests.
Hospitality Team
Being know as hospitable is something as Christians we are called to. The Coffee | Communion Team is responsible for setting up our hospitality stations ensuring that beverages, beverage tables and communion tables are prepared for Corporate Sunday Gatherings. Service requirements is once a month.
Greeting Team
Greeting | Ushering Team is responsible for cultivating a hospitable and welcoming environment for all individuals and families coming to gather for the Sunday corporate gatherings. This includes extending a friendly welcome to someone, ushering guests to open seats, and doing your best at directing new people to the right areas. If you are apart of the Redeemer family and love meeting and treating others with a smile and a handshake, consider joining the Greeting Team.
Welcome Center Team
The Welcome Center Team is responsible for welcoming guests, answer any questions people have, and helping individuals connect to a Gospel Community. If you are apart of a Gospel Community and want to help others get involved in serving or join the Redeemer family, please consider serving on the Connection Team. Requirement for serving, is serving once a month at the Connect Center.
Graphic Design Team
Everyone has been given gifts, and some of those gifts are the creative arts. If you love art, love color, typography, texture, visual hierarchy, and aesthetics, and are passionate about using these mediums to display the creativity and glory of our King Jesus, then consider joining this team.
Media Team
Life for us is about stories. Stories of failures, redemption, community and mission. Stories of service and sacrifice. And ultimately stories about God moving amongst his people and our city. Our desire as a church family is we want to capture all the different and diverse ways God is at work to encourage, inspire, and motivate people everywhere to worship Jesus Christ. Experience in videography, photography, and/or editing, we want to invite you to join the Media Team.
Communication Team
The communication team is responsible for utilizing the many social media channels to engage our culture and communicate what Jesus is doing in and through our local church, in our city, and amongst the nations. Ultimately pointing people to Jesus and His gospel. If you have a passion for writing, social media, and/or web development, consider joining the Communication Team.
Special Events
Within the Redeemer Family we have many special events that we do that require a lot of details and volunteers to pull off. Events can range from summer picnics to Easter celebrations and we need many different people with different skills to make these events happen. If you have event planning, decorating, baking, or grilling skills, or simply a willingness to help, please join this team.
