RK Home Connection: Missions Sunday & the Nativity
This week Stephanie Corley from The Lydia Project was our guest speaker. Stephanie and her husband Rob are co-founders of The Lydia Project. She told the story of Jesus coming to earth as a baby, just like she tells kids in Cambodia, using real objects and colorful pictures to communicate the mystery of Christ’s birth.
PRACTICE CHRISTMAS EVE PAGEANT SONGS
Next week is our last practice before Christmas Eve. Come sing songs and get ready for our Come-As-You-Are Pageant. Fourth and fifth graders are welcome to join in the pageant practice. (January 5th, 4th and 5th graders will be back in the downstairs sanctuary building classroom with their own curriculum again, studying the book of Ephesians.)
