How do you know what or who you worship? This is a big question and one that we don’t want to answer too quickly. Malachi is a book that will help us answer that question by challenging us to look at what we worship by looking at how we live. It is one thing to say you love Jesus, it is another thing to have your life look like you do. Malachi is going to challenge what we worship, who we love, and how we live by calling us out for what we bring to God as an offering, what we do with our relationships, how we respond to His teaching in holiness, what we do with our money, and ultimately whether we honor and fear God or seek simply to appease Him. While Malachi is a book filled with rebuke through our study we will also see it is a book grounded in the love of God for His people, most graciously seen in how it points to Jesus Christ, the perfect worshiper and the spotless offering.
